A couple of years ago I helped a friend at one of the local art fairs.  She needed a children's activity that would be a little different from the usual.  I had just made some scrollsawn butterflies and thus butterfly painting was born.  Since then it's become sort of a tradition, we do one fair in the spring and another in the fall.  This fall (2002) I added a few more creatures and a bunch of Christmas ornaments, but it will always be "Butterfly Painting".

Click on any of the small images below and a new browser window will open with a larger version.  The large images have all been scaled the same so that you can compare the relative sizes of each item.  Click here to open a window with a 5" ruler that you can use to get an idea of the actual size.  All of these items are sawn by hand from 1/8 inch thick baltic birch or similar plywood.  After sawing they are sanded to insure a smooth surface for painting.  Short lengths of wire for hanging are included.

As with all my other items, shipping within the US is included for orders over $50, smaller orders will incur a $4.50 shipping charge.  Items on this page can be included in the same order with items from the main naturetables.com page.

To keep the loading time for this page within one's lifetime, I've split the catalog across several pages.  Please see the links at the bottom of this page for more goodies.  Thanks!
